Practice Overview

My practice was established in 1987 and has evolved through reputation and client recommendations. Quality of design, communication and project management are fundamental. An understanding of how things are made, and well made, is central to my approach. My service comprehensively covers all building project stages from initial ideas and feasibility studies through to completion. This includes all approvals and consents such as Planning Permission, Building Regulations Approval and Warrants, Historic, Listed Building and Conservation Area Consents etc. I also advise on the selection of consultants and builders, obtain building costs and tenders, prepare and administer building contracts, and inspect building works during construction. A partial service, covering a particular part, or parts, of a project, can also be tailored to individual requirements.
For those clients who are at the earliest stages of considering a building project and perhaps require some guidance on those fundamental questions of project feasibility, cost, approvals, extent of services and timescales etc. I am happy to provide an initial, no obligation, consultation.
